MDI Privacy Policy
1. Medical Device Innovations (MDi) Ltd. takes the privacy of its Website users very seriously. Below we set out our privacy policy, which governs the way in which we process any personal information that you provide to us. By registering on this Website, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information in accordance with the terms of this policy. Please contact us should you wish to withdraw your consent. If we decide to change our privacy policy for the Website, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone.
2. MDi collects the name, address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, post[, fax] and telephone. Your personal information (which includes your name, address and any other details you provide to us now or during our relationship with you, which identifies you as an individual) may be processed and stored in a database, even after termination of any relationship with MDi. You can ask us at any time for details of the information we hold about you.
3. MDi aggregates information on the pages consumers access or visit, for the purposes of improving the content of our Web Site. This information is not disclosed or shared with other organisations for commercial purposes and will only be disclosed when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities or courts of competent jurisdiction and in accordance with applicable laws or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our Web site. If our business enters into a joint venture with or is sold to or merged with another business entity, your information may be disclosed to our new business partners or owners.
4. You consent to MDi and its affiliates using your information for the purpose of administering our relationship with you, including processing your requests, providing you with information about our services and for auditing usage of the site. It may be necessary to transfer your personal information to third parties within or outside the European Economic Area in order to administer our relationship with you. Countries outside the European Economic Area do not always have strong data protection laws. However, we will always take steps to ensure that your information is used by third parties in accordance with this policy. If you wish us to cease processing the information we have about you, have any concerns or would like to withdraw your consent, please send an appropriate request by e-mail to either your project manager at MDi or email us as admin@mdi-md.com.
5. Our website uses cookies in two areas. We use them to store information entered into the email form and the search feature so information does not need to be re-entered on subsequent visits. Save for the use of cookies, we do not automatically log data or collect data apart from information you specifically provide to us. You can set your computer browser to reject cookies but this will affect these two areas of the site.
6. We have implemented reasonable security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from unauthorised access, improper use and disclosure, unauthorised destruction or accidental loss. However, we cannot guarantee that these will be effective.
7. You have a right to request a copy of the personal information MDi holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. In order to contribute to the costs of administration we may charge you £10 for each request made. Please address requests by post to:
