funding, experience in product development, IP protection and
management, regulatory affairs, clinical validation, manufacturing and
a route to market. Since we take the project to the stage of a finished
or semi-finished product, the terms we are able to obtain from a
licensee/acquirer are superior to those a lone inventor is ever likely
to obtain. Potential benefits are defined before any development work
is commenced. We make rapid decisions and drive projects at full speed
(it's a competitive business so we can't afford to lose time). As an
inventor, your risks are greatly reduced. The worst case is that we
hand the project back, together with all of our development work, at no
cost. For the medical device industry: MDi can bring novel technologies
with a complete and clean intellectual property package, design history
file and experimental evidence of a product's effectiveness. Depending
on the project it may also include tooling, trademarks and OEM
manufacturing arrangements. Importantly we sort out all payment
arrangements with inventors so that device companies only have to deal
with one entity - us. We are experienced in deal negotiation and can
transfer the technology rapidly and efficiently.
